REINTJES gearboxes of the WAF/LAF, DLG, VA, and SVA/SVAL series have been specially designed for heavy-duty workboat applications such as tugboats, fishing trawlers, inland towboats, ferries, tankers, off-shore vessels, container vessels, and special-purpose ships.

WAF
Reverse-reduction gearbox with internal hydraulic multi-disc clutches, for use with a fixed-pitch propeller.
LAF
Reduction gearbox with internal hydraulic multi-disc clutch, for use with a controllable-pitch propeller, Z-drive, cyclonal propeller, or light dredging applications.
Dual-input/single-output gearbox, with internal hydraulic multi-disc clutches, for use with a controllable-pitch propeller, Z-drive, cyclonal propeller, or light dredging applications.
SVA – Reduction gearbox (without clutch), for use with a controllable-pitch propeller. The output shaft and pinion are supported by white metal slide bearings (opposed to roller bearings).
SVAL – Reduction gearbox with internal hydraulic multi-disc clutch, for use with a controllable-pitch propeller. The output shaft and pinion are supported by white metal slide bearings (opposed to roller bearings).
