WVS / WLS Series
730/1 – 2240 | 900 – 5,000 kW
The large-frame WVS and WLS reverse-reduction gearboxes carry the weight-optimized, fast-vessel design up to 5,000 kW — high power-to-weight, finely tuned shifting, and low operating noise for naval units, patrol boats, and high-performance yachts.
Heavy-Duty Power, Fast-Vessel DNA
Scaling the WVS / WLS platform up to 5,000 kW, the 730/1 – 2240 frames keep the high power-to-weight ratio and refined shifting of the series while delivering the torque demanded by larger naval units, patrol craft, and superyachts.
High Power-to-Weight Ratio
Aluminium alloy housing and case-hardened gears deliver maximum power for minimum weight, even at the top of the range.
Compact Dimensions
A tight footprint for the power class fits demanding engine rooms on fast planing and semi-planing hulls.
Finely Tuned Shifting
Adapted pressure increase during shifting gives smooth, controlled clutch engagement under demanding maneuvering.
Low Operating Noise
Helical, tooth-flank-ground gears and resilient mounting options keep onboard noise levels low for crew and guest comfort.

WVS / WLS Reverse-Reduction Gearbox
Use the selector above to switch views. Power Ratings show kW/rpm for each reduction ratio per the REINTJES Product Guide 2026 across Medium, Light and Pleasure duty (lighter duty cycles permit higher ratings). Main Dimensions give all gearbox dimensions in millimetres for the standard (input/output on opposite sides) and U-Drive (same side) configurations; weight columns list the WVS and the WLS counter-rotation and identical-rotation versions. Published kW/rpm ratings for WVS/WLS 1130 and 1130 L are available on request. Dimensions and dry weights are for the standard design and are not strictly binding (subject to change). Bold ratios are standard; additional ratios, custom ratios and input speed variations are available on request.
