WAF/LAF 2346 – 7760
1,800 – 7,083 kW
High-power reverse-reduction gearboxes for the largest workboat applications — ocean tugs, ATBs, large dredgers, and major commercial vessels. Engineered with welded steel housings for the most demanding continuous-duty propulsion installations.
Built for the Largest Workboat Applications
The WAF/LAF 2346 – 7760 range delivers the torque density needed for ocean-class tugs, ATBs, and major commercial vessels — backed by REINTJES' welded-steel housing construction and 80+ years of heavy-duty marine gearbox experience.
Welded Steel Housing
Welded steel housings deliver maximum strength and shock resistance for the most demanding ocean-class propulsion applications.
Continuous-Duty Reliability
Hydraulically operated disc clutches and oversized roller bearings ensure dependable continuous-duty performance for ocean operations.
Multiple Offset Configurations
Available in horizontal and vertical offset configurations to suit diverse engine room layouts on the largest workboats.
Low Operating Noise
Helical spur gears, case-hardened and tooth-flank ground with precision, deliver smooth, quiet operation across the full power range.
